Leaving this morning for Lake Dardanelle and the Razorback Base annual weekend campout. Finally, the weather has cleared up and we expect mid 80 degree temps all weekend. The motor home is loaded and we're just waiting for our gravel road to dry out a little before leaving. Easy drive to Lake Dardanelle. More later.
ReplyDeleteNice weekend at the Razorback Base picnic. Plenty of food and sea stories. Left yesterday morning for West Memphis. Camping right on the bank of the MS river. In fact, I'm watching the sun rise on the river along with the barge traffic as I write this. Beautiful scene. Driving to Shiloh Military Park today to tour it.
ReplyDeleteWas one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War. Will let you know more about it when I write next. Supposed to be a scorcher all week. No problem since that's what AC are for. Will post some pics on my facebook page.
